[Briefing]

In search of making the invisible tangible
RBG18 developped a cymatic installation in which soundwaves get translated to matter.
During the search for function for the created forms, a way to influence the end result
in a controlled manner was found.
The objects serve as a vessel of sound while being usable for human interaction.

[Artistic Approach]

By recognizing patterns and rhythms within the waveforms, the human brain can find possibilities in the seemingly random void. The process is intuitive, navigating between chaos and the known. The technology used allows sound to be a guide while creating.

The resulting objects serve as functional vessels showing the shape of sound. This approach questions the philosophical meaning of objects (why they exist, what they represent) and the physical (how they are used). The Vessel project shows the interplay of randomness and intention, showcasing how technology can amplify the creative process while preserving the organic essence of its inspiration.
